What to Expect

Bozeman Chiropractic

Before Your First Visit

The first step, or your first Waypoint as we call it, is to fill out our New Practice Member Intake Forms. This can be done securely through an email sent to you after booking your appointment. We suggest you do this before you come in as it will save you time on your first visit and allow us to be more prepared to serve you better!

First Visit

Step 1

This will be your first visit into our practice! If you have already filled out your New Practice Member Paperwork online, then this will help your first visit be much more efficient. On this visit we start by giving you a short tour of our office, so you are familiar with our facility and know where everything is. We want everyone to feel comfortable here and feel like family!

Step 2

We then take you back into a room where we can review your paperwork and learn a little more about you and your health concerns.  One of our passions is to educate, so we will briefly explain how chiropractic works and what we are looking for to help you on your journey to optimal health.

Step 3

At Waypoint Chiropractic we use “Space Certified” technology to get an exact assessment of your nervous system.  After your consult we will use this technology to scan your spine to see how well you are functioning. Dr. Cary may also need to perform other orthopedic tests and palpation as needed to help determine where your problem areas are.

Step 4

Depending on your health history, neurological scans, palpation, and presentation, Dr. Cary may require X-rays to get a better look at your spinal structure.  If X-rays are required, then we can take those right here in our office. We have the latest in digital X-ray, so we can get superb images done on this first visit. We will then use the information we have gathered to put together the best individualized care plan possible for you.

Second Visit

Your next (2nd visit) visit will by far be the most important visit you have with us--Your Doctors Report of Findings. The word doctor means teacher, and we want to do our best to help you know how your body functions and heals. At this appointment, you will sit down with the doctor and go over everything we found in the exam and personally go over any x-rays that were taken. We will also go over your personal care recommendations, how much time it should take to heal, what you can do at home to aid the healing process, and any other questions you may have. Once you know what to expect and are ready to get started you will then get your first adjustment and be on the road to healing!

Continue with care plan

Your future visits will be much shorter, so you can stop in during your regular daily schedule.  We will also have periodic re-evaluations to monitor your progress while under care. This helps you and us to monitor and modify care as needed.
